CS&P provided Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical design services for this new VOSA approved vehicle maintenance facility and associated office.

This building was constructed on a challenging brownfield site with historic contamination issues including, asbestos, hydrocarbons and heavy metals.  We worked closely with the contractor and ground work sub-contractor to develop a remediation strategy to minimise the material removed from site.

The building superstructure is a steel portal frame with composite floor construction forming the first floor office.  The substructure is a piled solution supporting a suspended concrete slab that incorporates various pits for vehicle maintenance purposes and was constructed to meet the tight construction tolerances required to meet the VOSA approved specification.
